Who We Are

JourneyGuide operates a digital directory of funded global opportunities. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site, browse the directory, join our email list, or buy the full edition — and what we do with it.

Information We Collect

• Purchase information — your email address, billing details and order history when you buy the full edition.
• Directory usage — shortlists, checklists and notes you save in the tracker, tied to your account.
• Account information — your email and password if you create an account to re-download your guide.
• Usage information — pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Correspondence — anything you send us by email.

We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor.

How We Use It

• To deliver your guide and provide access to future updates
• To send order confirmations and respond to support requests
• To send you pathway guidance and occasional emails about our guides, if you opted in
• To detect and prevent fraudulent orders
• To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the store:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Klaviyo — email delivery and marketing, where you opted in
• Google Analytics — anonymised site usage statistics
• Our hosting and digital delivery providers, which store and send your guide

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies to keep your cart and session working, and analytics cookies to measure site usage. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the Manage Cookies link in the footer.

Email & Unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order confirmations and download emails are transactional and are sent regardless, because they are part of delivering your purchase.

Your Rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, you also have the right to object to processing, request a portable copy of your data, and complain to your local data protection authority. Email howdy@journeyguide.co and we will respond within 30 days.

Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted. Route Checker responses are kept in our email platform alongside your contact record.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
