About the directory, the free preview, and the full edition.

A searchable database of more than a thousand funded global opportunities — scholarships, fellowships, research grants, summer schools, and residencies. Each record is decoded into structured fields: who can apply, what is funded (tuition, housing, food, stipend, travel), the stated amounts, eligibility requirements, and the exact application deadline, with a link to the official application page.

Every record preserves the programme’s published terms exactly and links to the official source. When a programme does not state something — an amount, a benefit, an age rule — our record says "unknown" rather than guessing. Each record also shows when its source data was extracted. Programme rules can change, so always confirm on the official page before applying; every record links there directly.

Records carry one of four funding classifications taken from the source analysis: fully funded, substantially funded, partially funded, or unfunded/unknown. Fully funded means the programme’s published terms cover the core costs — typically tuition and living support, often housing and travel. The five coverage flags (housing, food, stipend, tuition, travel) show exactly which benefits are explicitly confirmed; an unconfirmed benefit is never shown as covered.

The free preview shows the directory’s featured slice — the most remarkable opportunities by funding and eligibility — plus the full search and filter interface, with no account required. The full edition unlocks every record in the database.

The complete database with unrestricted search and filters, application shortlisting, per-programme document checklists, a 12-month calendar view of every deadline, live countdowns, private notes, and CSV/calendar export. It is a one-time purchase for the 2026–27 season — no subscription.

The full edition is digital access unlocked on this site, tied to the account and email you use at checkout. There is no physical product and no shipping.

No — and anything that claims to should be treated with caution. We show you each programme’s published eligibility rules in plain language so you can judge fit quickly, but only the programme’s administrators decide who qualifies and who is selected. We use the programme’s own words, never our own promises.

No. Every record links to the official application page and you apply directly with the funder — free of charge, as almost all of these programmes are. JourneyGuide is the map, not the middleman.

Because the full edition is a digital product, all purchases are final once access has been delivered. If you experience a technical problem with your access, contact us and we will make it right.
